Al Dubuc-Author & Trainer "Success Through Passion & Focus"
With over thirty years of experience in all aspects of IT Consulting Services, and a background which includes teaching high-school math and singing with the San Francisco Symphony, Al brings a unique approach and effectiveness to Oz's interactive, entertaining, learner-centered program entitled "Industry Best Practices for Sales and Recruiting."
After graduating Stanford in Mathematics and Computer Science, Al joined Bank of America's computer programming team, sitting alongside (and later managing) off shore and local computer consultants on several successful projects. For San Francisco Bay Area Consulting Services firms, Al then worked as a recruiter, salesperson, manager, partner, founder and owner, supporting IT and Software companies in SF, LA, and in Silicon Valley. Al has founded two successful companies, one of which was sold in 1989.
As President and CEO of Oz Enterprises, Inc. (Founded 1986), Al wrote the curriculum for its flagship seminar, and later produced the audio, video, and web-based versions of its training. Al has been a keynote speaker at countless company kick-off programs, and a featured speaker at NATSS, NTSA and ASA Conventions, California Staffing Professionals, Technology Association of Georgia, the Staffing Industry Summer School, and fifteen national TechServe Alliance (formerly NACCB) Conferences.
In 2001, Al became a Member of the Board of Directors of Avizion Technologies in Dallas, Texas, and in 2004 re-named his company Oz Consulting and Training, with headquarters at the foothills of Yosemite National Park in Oakdale, California.
Mary Baker, Oz Enterprises' co-founder, has over 28 years experience in the IT arena. She is responsible for the company's finances and business operations, computer
system business software, web site development, and production of all advertising and marketing materials using the latest web, graphic, and print technologies. Prior to starting Oz in 1986, she was a computer programming consultant performing IBM mainframe engagements for California corporations including Bank of America, Standard Oil, Toyota, Pacific Bell, Crown Zellerbach, and Sprint communications.
